This article walks through how to upload and import your own data into a project, so your existing files, previous maps, and reference material all live in one place alongside everything else in Nova. Keeping it together makes it easier to generate maps that pull from all of your data at once.
Select Choose File, or drag and drop your files directly into the upload window
Supported file types: KML, KMZ, and georeferenced PDFs.
Adjust placement, size, color, and symbol just like any other icon, line, or polygon feature. See more about Icon Features and Lines and Polygons.
When you bring in a georeferenced PDF, it populates directly on the map view and lines up with the terrain and any other features already on your map.
